Professor Morten L Kringelbach is interested in understanding hedonia (pleasure) and eudaimonia (the life well-lived). He uses advanced neuroimaging, neurosurgical and whole-brain modelling methods to understand brain function together with his team and international collaborators. Morten is a fellow of Linacre College and a principal investigator at Department of Psychiatry (University of Oxford, UK), Center for Music in the Brain, and Flavour Institute (Aarhus University, Denmark). He is also on the board of the Empathy Museum. Morten has published 14 books, and over 350 scientific papers, chapters and other articles.
